DURATION OF STAY IN SOLO
We’d suggest to stay at least 3 days to get to know Solo.
This does not include the surrounding areas,
for everything worth seeing we’d suggest to stay at least 2 weeks.
VISA
Coming as a Tourist to Indonesia, one is allowed to stay for max. 60 days with a Visa on
Arrival (VOA).
Depending on country of origin, for most Tourists there is the option of a free VOA for 30 days.
The free VOA is only available at 5 airports in indonesia, these are:
CGK Jakarta
DPS Bali/Denpasar
SUB Surabaya
KNO Medan
BTH Batam
Those who enter Indonesia at another airport or those who want to stay longer than 30 days have to pay 35$US for the first 30 days and prolong after 3 weeks at a local ‘Kantor Imigrasi’ (Immigration Office).
The fee would be 355.000 IDR.
If you wish to do so while you are staying here with us,
we can assist with the VOA application at the nearby immigration office.

WEATHER
One of the most frequently asked Questions is about the local weather.
Well, in our honest opinion actually anytime is good for a visit.
Temperature is always between 30 and 34 degress Celsius in the daytime and between 22 and 28 degrees in the nighttime.
From June to November there is hardly any rainfall. So it is very dry and strong, dusty winds can occur,
nights can be chilly.
Whereas from December to May it is the wettest months. Yet that doesn’t mean that it would rain every day all day. Usually it is raining in the afternoon or evening. What we like about the rain season is that everything is so green and the air is clean.
